On Wednesday 14th May, Marie Sweetlove-Smyth, CEO of Fortis Trust, was honoured to be invited to attend a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate those working in education and skills! Marie was there representing the staff and students from across the staff, as well as the incredible work of The PTI.
The party was hosted by Their Majesties, The King and Queen, and Marie and her husband were truly humbled to be invited to the Royal Tea Tent, where they had the privilege of meeting HRH King Charles. She had the delight of shaking hands and sharing her insights about education and the work of the PTI (of which he is a Patron).
It was a fantastic sunny day, with excellent food and scenery, and Mrs Sweetlove-Smyth and her husband thoroughly enjoyed the event.
