Today, we welcomed the Fortis Trust staff and special guests to open the new Bradfields Academy two-storey building officially.
The Chair of Trustees and CEO of Fortis Trust opened the event with speeches, showcasing what the Trust has achieved, and how the new building will help support the growing academy. Guests then attended a ceremony outside of the new building, where confetti canons were let off, and the building was officially opened by Tracey Crouch MP for Chatham and Aylesford. The guests were then provided with a tour of the new building; followed by a buffet lunch.
Among the guests were The Worshipful Mayor of Medway, Councillor Jan Aldous; alongside her Consort, Mr Tony Aldous, Tracey Crouch MP, Cllr Clive Johnson, Cllr Vince Maple, Cllr Adrian Gulvin, Martin O’Donnell (from the Parallel Learning Trust), Dayo Sogbetun (from St John Fisher Catholic Comprehensive School), Daniel Jinks & Mike Ford (from Neilcotts), Kim Johnson (former Principal of Bradfields Academy), Trevor Croucher and Kerry Seales.
